Configuring Your Diary Tabs
Configuring the diary allows you to tailor its display according to your specific needs, from variables such as technicians, bays, and slot types. This level of control ensures optimal visibility and organization within each of your diaries. To configure your diary tab, right-click on the diary tab on the home page and select "Configure Diary".
This opens a menu presenting Slot Types, Bays, and Technicians, allowing you to change their visibility within the diary. By selecting the checkboxes to each option, you mark them for display. For instance, in the example below, I've opted to display all Slot Types and Bays in my Diary Tab, while limiting the display of Technicians to only three: Jake, Mo, and Trish.
Clicking 'Save' finalizes the configuration for my Diary Tab. Note that any additions of new Slot Types, Technicians, or Bays require following this process to ensure their visibility in the diary.
You have the flexibility to activate multiple diary tabs, each with its unique configuration. This feature proves advantageous when necessitating a diary dedicated to a specific Technician, Bay, or Slot Type.
Managing Diary Tabs
Under the "Diaries" dropdown menu, you can add new diary tabs, manage existing ones, and configure the columns displayed within the diary.
Adding a New Diary Tab
This option enables the addition of a new diary tab to your Virtual Garage Manager (VGM). The newly created tab starts with default settings and requires configuration. If you've previously configured a diary tab but inadvertently closed it, you'll find your configured tab under:
Selecting this option presents a menu listing all created diaries. From here, you can choose which diaries to display in the VGM by selecting their respective checkboxes. Upon selection, click 'Save', and the diary tabs become visible in your VGM.
Deleting Diary Tabs
To delete a diary tab, it must first be set as visible. Right-click on the diary tab on the home screen and select 'Delete'. This action removes the diary tab from your VGM.
