Before you start
Audit Agent is feature-gated and usually requires owner/co-owner/admin-level access. Your role must be able to spend credits.
Audit templates
Open Audit Agent > Templates to manage audit templates.
Templates can be:
Personal: available to you.
Organisation: shared with your organisation, where permissions allow.
Regulatory Presets: pre-configured templates aligned with UK healthcare standards, where enabled.
Preset framework labels in the app include CQC, GMC, and NHS. Clone a preset if you want to customise it.
Create or edit a template
Open Audit Agent > Templates.
Click Create Template, or edit an existing template.
Add a name, description, objective, questions, and criteria.
Choose scoring settings for each criterion.
Save the template as personal or organisation-level, depending on your permissions.
Templates can use criteria with priority and scoring. The current code supports binary, scale, and text-style scoring, with verdict-based or points-based scoring strategies.
Run a new audit
Open Audit Agent.
Click New Audit.
Choose a framework or template.
Select the sessions to audit.
Choose which source material to include.
Review the audit setup.
Click Run Audit.
Session selection options
Audit Agent can audit recent or selected groups of sessions, depending on what is enabled for your account. Current options in the OS include last 7 days, last 30 days, all unaudited sessions, and a custom date range.
If your organisation allows auditing across clinicians, owners/admins may also be able to choose which clinicians or users are included.
Source material options
When creating an audit, you can choose which material Audit Agent should review:
Transcript: the raw consultation transcript.
AI Summary: generated clinical notes and/or letters.
Clinician Notes: clinician-entered notes where available.
Select at least one source. If no source is selected, the audit cannot run.
Reading results
Audit results can be reviewed by criteria, by clinician where available, and by session.
The dashboard and history pages show audit status, number of notes reviewed, pass rate, and whether an audit needs attention. Open a completed audit to review the executive summary, criteria breakdown, session-level results, filters, failed sessions, and export options.
When to contact support
Contact Motics support if an audit is stuck in queued or running for longer than expected, if a completed audit has missing sessions, if template permissions look wrong, or if you see a write-freeze or migration message for more than a short period.
