Changing Your Subscription Plan (Monthly ↔ Yearly)

You can switch between monthly and yearly billing anytime inside your Account Manager. The steps are the same — what changes is how billing works depending on which direction you switch.

⚠️ Important: The annual subscription option is only available for subscriptions purchased directly through MovesApp.com. If your subscription is managed via Apple or Google, you must first cancel that subscription and then set up a new subscription on MovesApp.com to switch to yearly billing. You can always email support@movesapp.com if you need help with this!

How to Change Your Plan

  1. Open the Moves App

  2. Go to the Profile tab

  3. Tap Manage Subscription

  4. Tap Manage Subscription again (this opens the Account Manager)

  5. Log in using your Moves app email and password

  6. Select Moves Subscription

  7. Under Billing, find your current plan

  8. Tap Change


  9. Choose Yearly or Monthly

  10. Confirm your selection


Switching From Monthly → Yearly

💰 Did you know!? Our yearly plan saves $40 per year compared to paying monthly for a full year!

When you upgrade:

  • You’ll only be charged a prorated amount based on your most recent monthly payment date

  • You will not be double charged

  • Your yearly plan starts right away after the adjustment

Switching From Yearly → Monthly

When you downgrade:

  • You won’t receive a refund for unused annual time

  • Instead, you’ll receive account credits for the remaining value of your yearly plan

  • Those credits automatically apply to upcoming monthly payments

Because of this, we usually recommend waiting until your renewal date to switch so you can take full advantage of the yearly savings.
