Getting a quote for your kit is simple. You’ll need to head to our website and select the ‘Sell/Trade’ button.
From here, you can:
Enter the item(s) you wish to sell
Select the item's condition
Add item(s) to buy if you're looking to trade

Booking your quote
Once your quote is confirmed, you can book a courier to collect your kit.

Managing your existing quotes
To manage your quotes, log in to your MPB account and click the person icon at the top right. Then select ‘Quotes’.
From the Quotes page, you can:
View all ongoing, existing or expired quotes.
View your shipping labels (For Collections, Sending & Drop-off)
Modify and arrange a courier (If you have already not done so through the quote form)
If you don’t already have an account, you can sign-up here to gain access to previous quotes under your email address. |
Amending your quote
You can amend your quote as long as a collection hasn’t been booked.
If it hasn’t, go to Account > Quotes, select View Quote, and add or remove items as needed.
If a collection is already arranged, contact our customer support team for help.
Accepted Kit
MPB provides instant prices for over 10,000 used cameras, lenses and accessories—but we can’t accept every item submitted.
To check if your kit is eligible, start typing the model name in the quote form. A dropdown list will appear—select the most accurate match.
Since the quote tool pulls from a preset list, accuracy matters. For best results, use the full model name (e.g. Canon EOS 5D Mark III, not Canon 5D III).
If you can’t find the item you're looking to sell through our quote form - simply click ‘I can’t find what I’m looking for’ and submit your item to quote.
Your request will be reviewed by our Seller Experience team within 1 business day. If we can buy the item, we’ll send you a quote. If not, we’ll let you know

Accessories
Your quote includes accessories like the battery and charger. A breakdown of what accessories are to be included with your item can be found once your quote has been generated by selecting ‘Whats in the quote’.
Third party accessories
These are accessories made by other brands — such as Wasabi, Neewer, or SmallRig — but still designed to work with your kit. MPB may accept them in some cases, depending on the item type.
In most cases, if an original battery is missing, a third-party battery may be accepted but will only partially make up for the original's absence. Additional third-party accessories will not increase the value of your quote and cannot be returned.

Drones
MPB accepts a wide range of DJI drones - this includes standard and Fly-more combos. Please note: Make sure your drone is unlocked before arrival to ensure that the item can be purchased and transferred.

Cinema and Video Equipment
MPB accepts quotes for a wide range of cinema and videographic kit, most of which can be quoted directly through our form. However as some videographic cameras are modular they may require a more in-depth quote. In these cases we recommend reaching out to our Seller Experience team directly at Used@mpb.com.
Non-functional kit
We may still be able to quote for kit that has faults but remains usable — for example, if it can still take photos or record video. To find out if your item qualifies, contact our team at Used@mpb.com and we’ll be happy to assist.
Further Information
Why did I get a reminder email about a quote I already shipped?
If you have received a reminder email for a quote you may have already sent in - this might be a duplicate quote which is still live on our system. We recommend checking the TX number provided within the email matches that of the quote which was sent/received.
Can I change my quote to a trade-in?
Once your quote has been arranged, it can’t be converted into a part exchange. However, our customer support team may be able to help - please get in touch with them to see if this change is possible.
Please note, if you’ve already sent in your items, we won’t be able to make any changes to your quote until the checking process is complete.
When does my quote expire?
All quotes with MPB have a 14 day expiration period. This begins from the date the quote is generated and ends once it is booked in and sent. If your quote has expired, you will need to arrange a new quote here.
Can I cancel a quote if I already booked shipping?
If you have booked a courier for your quote but wish to cancel, please get in touch with our support team and we can make this amendment to your quote.
I can't find the item I want to sell?
If the item you wish to sell isn’t available through our quote page, or you are unable to find the listed model, you can select ‘I can’t find what I am looking for’ within the quote creation page. Our team will review your submission and confirm if we can buy your item(s), and a quote will be generated and sent within 1 business day.
When can I add a promotional code to my quote?
Promotional codes must be applied during your quote creation and cannot be added afterwards. Once a quote has been arranged and sent, it cannot be amended to include a promotional code. Please see our article about special discounts for more information.
