You post content consistently. You're building something. But how do you actually know if it's working?
That's where Insights comes in.
β
The Insights Dashboard gives you a real-time view of how your content is performing across all your social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. All in one place. No jumping between apps. No guessing. Just clear data that helps you understand what resonates with your audience.
What You'll See
Your dashboard shows three key metrics: Reach (how many people are seeing your content), Engagement (how many are actually interacting with it), and Followers (how your audience is growing). Each one is broken down by platform, so you can see where your effort is paying off the most.
Below that, you'll find a detailed list of every post you've published, along with how each one performed. This is especially valuable because it shows you patterns. Maybe your carousel posts outperform your reels. Maybe your audience engages more on Tuesday mornings. Maybe LinkedIn is where your real connections happen, even if Instagram has higher numbers.
Why It Matters
Small business owners (coaches, consultants, realtors, therapists) often feel like they're shouting into the void on social media. You create content, you hit publish, and then... silence? Or engagement? It's hard to know.
Insights removes that guesswork. When you can see what's actually working, you can do more of it. You can confidently invest your time in the platforms and content types that are genuinely helping you grow. That's not just helpful. It's the difference between social media feeling like a chore and feeling like a real business tool.
Getting Started
Open your Insights tab, and you'll see your metrics right away. The "Last 30 Days" filter is the default: a good window for spotting trends without getting lost in noise. Switch to "Overview" or "Trend" views depending on what you're looking for. Dive into individual posts to understand the story behind your numbers.
And if you're curious about a specific time period? You can adjust the date range to see exactly when your audience was most active, or compare different seasons or campaigns. Your content deserves an audience. Your audience deserves content that actually matters to them. Insights helps you bridge that gap.
Quick Tips to Make the Most of Your Data
1. Find Your Platform Sweet Spot You don't need to be everywhere. If Instagram is driving 10x more engagement than LinkedIn, focus your energy there. Insights shows you exactly where your audience is most active. Use it to prioritize.
2. Double Down on What Works See a carousel post that crushed it? A reel that got real engagement? Do more of that. Look for patterns in your best-performing posts and replicate what made them successful.
3. Post When Your Audience Is Listening If your engagement spikes on Tuesday mornings, that's your signal. Start scheduling posts around the times you see the most activity. Consistency + timing = growth.
4. Don't Chase Vanity Metrics High reach doesn't always mean high engagement, and that's okay. A smaller audience that actually comments and shares is worth more than thousands of passive viewers. Focus on meaningful interactions, not just numbers.
5. Make It a Habit Check your Insights weekly. You don't need to obsess over daily fluctuations. A weekly check-in helps you spot trends and adjust your strategy before too much time passes.
6. Use Engagement as Your Guide Pay attention to which topics, formats, and posting times generate actual comments and saves. That's where the real conversation is happening. That's where your ideal clients are listening.
