How can I log my food in the app?

Our app offers several convenient ways to log your meals. With every method, the app automatically calculates calories and nutrition values, and you can adjust portions or other details as needed.

Here are some helpful recommendations for food logging:

  • For branded products, it’s best to start with the barcode or label scanning option by tapping the camera icon.

  • For home-cooked meals or non-branded food, AI photo recognition or creating a custom recipe works best. To create your own recipes, type a meal description in the search bar and tap the three-star icon⭐. The AI will suggest sample ingredients, which you can adjust or replace. You can also build a recipe manually by searching and adding ingredients one by one.

  • If a product isn’t available in the database, use the New Food option to add it yourself. You can scan the label for automatic entry or enter nutrition information manually. Your custom foods will be saved in the My Food section for future use.

  • If you already know the calories and macros, the Quick Add option is good for one-time entries.
