I'm a beginner and don't know how to use the app

Understanding the basics of using the app

Updated over a week ago

When you first onboard into our app, it automatically calculates a calorie intake based on the answers you provide, such as your height, age, sex, activity level, and other factors. After your daily calorie intake is calculated, you will see it on the main page of the app. That is the number of your estimated daily calories that you should intake to reach your weight goal. This number already includes the calorie deficit if you choose the goal to lose weight in the onboarding quiz.

Below you can also see your daily amount of fats (letter F), carbohydrates (letter C), and protein (letter P):

From here, you can start to log your meal by tapping "Add" or "Plus" buttons. Feel free to use any of the available food logging options:

  • search in our product database;

  • AI text recognition;

  • AI photo scanning;

  • nutrition label and barcode scanning;

  • New Food and Quick Add options;

  • creating Custom Recipes.

With all methods, the app will automatically calculate the nutritional values of your meal, including calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrates.

Below your meals you can also start logging your activity and weight:

If you need diet advice or a meal plan, you can consult with our AI assistant NOVA. It can create a meal plan specifically for you. You can find it by tapping the star icon at the top-right corner:

Your progress is located in the Progress section of the app, where you can track your weight loss progress, as well as view detailed graphs on your nutrition intake, water intake, activity level, and daily steps:

This covers the basics of the app. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to reach out!
