When you first onboard into the app, you’ll be asked to choose a fasting schedule. Currently, you can select from the following options:
Hourly schedules:
- 14:10 (the easiest one)
- 16:8
- 20:4
- 23:1 (OMAD: One meal a day)Daily schedules:
- 6:1
- 5:2 (the most challenging)
If you have a paid subscription and find the current fasting schedule inconvenient, you can also create a custom fasting plan that better fits your routine. You can change your fasting schedule anytime by going to your Profile in the upper-left corner of the main screen:
You should eat after your fasting time ends, not before. When your fast ends, your eating window begins. When your eating window ends, that’s when your next fast starts. For example:
• If your fast ends at 12:00 PM, you can start eating at 12:00 PM
• If your eating window ends at 8:00 PM, you should stop eating at 8:00 PM and begin your fast
Once your plan is set, you can begin fasting from the Fasting section of the app. Simply tap "Start fasting" to begin your fasting timer. When you’re done, tap "End fasting", adjust your start or end time if needed, and tap "Submit" to log the fast:
You can also enable Auto Tracking in your profile so the app starts and ends your fast automatically. Ending a fast marks the start of your eating window, and starting a fast marks the end of it:
If you’d like the app to notify you when your fast starts and ends, you can enable reminders like this:
Tap the 🙎♂️ icon in the upper-left corner → "Notifications".
Switch on and customize the reminder toggles.
Also make sure notifications are allowed on your device: go to Settings → tap "Notifications" → "Fasting app" → "Allow Notifications".
Your progress is located in the Progress section of the app, where you can track your fasting results and weight changes, as well as view detailed graphs on your water intake, activity level, and daily steps:
