Zebra Printer Setup on Mac (QZ Tray + AccelerList SKU/FNSKU Settings)

Follow the steps below to install QZ Tray, set up your Zebra printer on Mac, and configure the correct settings in AccelerList for smooth and accurate label printing.


Part 1: Install QZ Tray (Required)

Before proceeding, make sure you download and install QZ Tray on your Mac.


Part 2: Zebra Printer Setup on Mac


Step 1 — Use Google Chrome

  • Close the AccelerList desktop app (if open)

  • Open Google Chrome

  • Log in to AccelerList via browser


Step 2 — Make Sure QZ Tray Is Running

  • Check the top menu bar for the QZ Tray icon

  • If not visible, open it from Applications

  • Refresh AccelerList


Step 3 — Allow QZ Tray in macOS Security

  • Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security

  • Click Allow Anyway if QZ Tray is blocked

  • Restart QZ Tray and refresh AccelerList


Step 4 — Set Zebra as Default Printer

  • Go to System Settings → Printers & Scanners

  • Select your Zebra printer

  • Set it as Default Printer


Step 5 — Configure Label Size in Zebra Driver

  • Open Zebra printer settings

  • Set:

    • Media Type: Labels

    • Scaling: 100%

    • Disable Fit to Page

⚠️ Important: Only use supported label sizes listed below.


Step 6 — Connect AccelerList to QZ Tray

  • Go to AccelerList → Settings → Printer

  • Select your Zebra printer

  • Click Allow / Trust when prompted


Step 7 — Run a Test Print

  • Click Test Print

  • Confirm:

    • Correct label size

    • Clear barcode

Part 3: Configure Zebra Printer in AccelerList (SKU + FNSKU Labels)


1. Open Printer Settings

Navigate to:
Settings → Printer → SKU + FNSKU Labels


2. Configure Your Zebra Printer Settings

Set the following:

  • Active Printer: Zebra Printer

  • Printer Driver Config: Zebra (203 dpi or 300 dpi depending on your model)

  • Orientation: Portrait

  • Label Type: Select a supported label size

3. Supported Label Sizes (Important)

AccelerList only supports the following label sizes:

  • 30334 — 2 1/4" x 1 1/4"

  • 30336 — 1" x 2-1/8"

  • 30252 — 1-1/8" x 3-1/2"

👉 You may also use labels that exactly match these dimensions

⚠️ Using unsupported label sizes may cause:

  • Misaligned prints

  • Incorrect scaling

  • Unscannable barcodes


4. Match Label Size Across All Settings

Make sure the label size matches in:

  • AccelerList settings

  • Zebra printer driver

  • Actual labels loaded in printer


5. Print a Test Label

  • Click Print Test Label

  • Confirm:

    • Proper alignment

    • Correct size

    • Scannable barcode


Troubleshooting Tips

If printing fails:

  • Restart QZ Tray

  • Restart Chrome and your Mac

  • Recheck label size settings

  • Re-select printer in AccelerList
