Zebra Printer Setup on Windows (SKU + FNSKU Labels)

This guide walks you through setting up your Zebra printer on Windows to properly print SKU + FNSKU labels in AccelerList.

Following these steps ensures your labels print clearly, align correctly, and avoid common printing issues.


1. Install and Run QZ Tray (Required)

Before setting up your printer, make sure QZ Tray is installed and running.

QZ Tray is required for AccelerList to communicate with your printer.

  • Download and install QZ Tray

  • Open QZ Tray

  • Confirm it is running in the system tray (bottom-right corner)

2. Open AccelerList in Chrome (Recommended)

  • Close the AccelerList desktop app (if open)

  • Open Google Chrome

  • Log in to AccelerList

Using Chrome ensures better communication with QZ Tray.


3. Confirm Your Printer Works in Windows

Before connecting to AccelerList:

  • Go to Control Panel β†’ Devices and Printers

  • Right-click your Zebra printer β†’ Printer Properties

4. Open Printer Settings in AccelerList

Navigate to:

5. Configure Printer Settings in AccelerList

Set the following:

  • Active Printer: Zebra Printer

  • Printer Driver Config: Zebra 203dpi

  • Orientation: Portrait (or depending on label)

  • Label Type:

    • 30334 β€” 2 1/4" x 1 1/4"

    • 30336 β€” 1" x 2-1/8"

    • 30252 β€” 1-1/8" x 3-1/2"

    • Or any label that matches these dimensions

6. Set Printer as Default (Windows)

  • Go to Devices and Printers

  • Right-click your Zebra printer

  • Click Set as Default Printer

This helps AccelerList detect the correct printer.


7. Configure Printer Preferences

  • Right-click your printer β†’ Printing Preferences

Set the following:

  • Resolution: 203 dpi (recommended for Zebra)

  • Paper Size: Match your selected label (30334, 30336, or 30252)

  • Orientation: Match AccelerList setting

8. Allow AccelerList in QZ Tray

  • Open QZ Tray from the system tray

  • Click Site Manager

  • Ensure AccelerList is marked as Allowed / Trusted


9. Connect Printer in AccelerList

  • Select your printer in settings

  • When prompted, click Allow / Trust


10. Print a Test Label

  • Click Print Test Label in AccelerList

Confirm:

  • Label is aligned

  • Not cut off

  • Prints clearly


11. Troubleshooting (If Printing Fails)

If labels do not print correctly:

  • Restart QZ Tray and refresh AccelerList

  • Confirm printer is still set as default

  • Recheck label size and driver config

  • Try another supported label size

  • Restart your computer if needed
