Updated yesterday

If you're using a DYMO printer on macOS, especially after system updates, some label settings may not appear correctly. This guide ensures your printer is configured properly for accurate and consistent MF ticket printing.

1. Install QZ Tray (Required)

Before setting up your printer in AccelerList, make sure QZ Tray is installed and running.

If you need help installing it, kindly check the guide below:

2. Configure Printer Settings in AccelerList

Go to:
Settings → Printer → MF Location Tickets

Set the following:

  • Active Printer: Dymo

  • Orientation: Landscape

  • Label Type: Dymo 30270 | 2.125 x 3.5 (Continuous)

✅ Click Save Changes

3. Important: Supported Label Type

For MF ticketing, we only support:

  • DYMO 30270 Continuous Labels

⚠️ Using other label types may cause:

  • Misaligned prints

  • Incorrect formatting

  • Printing errors

4. Open Terminal

Go to Applications → Utilities → Terminal

5. Enable the CUPS Web Interface

In Terminal, enter:

sudo cupsctl WebInterface=yes

Press Enter → enter your Mac password → press Enter again

6. Open the CUPS Printer Page

Open your browser and go to:

http://localhost:631

7. Select Your DYMO Printer

  • Click Printers tab

  • Select your DYMO printer

8. Configure Printer Options (VERY IMPORTANT)

  • Click Administration

  • Select Set Default Options

Set the following:

  • Media Size / Paper Size: Match 30270 (or custom 2.125" x 3.5)

  • Media Type / Label Type: Continuous Wide (Required)

  • Orientation: Landscape

⚠️ Make sure Continuous Wide is enabled — this is required for MF ticket printing.

9. Save the Settings

  • Click Set Default Options / Save

  • Enter your Mac username and password if prompted

10. Verify Printer Setup

Go to:

  • System Settings → Printers & Scanners

  • Confirm your DYMO printer shows “Ready”

11. Test Print in AccelerList

  • Go back to AccelerList

  • Click Print Test Label

  • Confirm alignment and clarity

Quick Reminder ✅

For best results:

  • Use DYMO printer (LW 450 or similar)

  • Use DYMO 30270 Continuous Labels ONLY

  • Enable Continuous Wide in CUPS

  • Keep orientation set to Landscape
