Mac OS Rollo Printer Setup for MF Ticketing Labels (AccelerList Guide)

This guide walks you through the recommended setup for DYMO printers on Mac OS to ensure your MF Location Tickets print correctly in AccelerList.

Updated yesterday

Since MF ticketing uses specific label formats, itโ€™s important that both your Mac printer settings (CUPS) and AccelerList settings are properly aligned to avoid printing issues.

1. Download and Install QZ Tray, then Open Printer Settings in AccelerList

First, make sure you download and install QZ Tray.

Then navigate to:
โ€‹Settings โ†’ Printer โ†’ MF Location Tickets

2. Configure Your Printer Settings in AccelerList

Make sure your settings match the recommended configuration below:

  • Active Printer: Rollo Printer

  • Orientation: Landscape

โœ… Click Save Changes

3. Supported Label Types for MF Ticketing

We support the following label types:

  • 30270 Continuous Labels

  • 4x6 (UPS Labels) โ€” as long as properly calibrated

โš ๏ธ Using unsupported label sizes may result in:

  • Misaligned prints

  • Incorrect formatting

  • Printing errors

4. Configure Printer Settings via CUPS (Mac)

If labels are missing, misaligned, or not printing correctly, configure your printer using CUPS:

Open CUPS:

If it doesnโ€™t load:

  • Open Terminal

  • Run:

sudo cupsctl WebInterface=yes

Configure Your Printer:

  • Click Printers

  • Select your Rollo printer

  • Click Administration โ†’ Set Default Options

Set the following:

  • Media Size / Paper Size: Match your label (30270 or 4x6)

  • Orientation: Landscape

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT (For Continuous Labels):

If you are using 30270 continuous labels, make sure to:

  • Enable Continuous Wide under CUPS settings

This ensures proper alignment and continuous printing behavior.

5. Print a Test Label in AccelerList

  • Go back to AccelerList

  • Click Print Test Label

  • Confirm:

    • Proper alignment

    • Correct size

    • Clear output

Quick Reminder โœ…

For best results:

  • Use 30270 Continuous Labels or 4x6 labels

  • Enable Continuous Wide in CUPS (for continuous labels)

  • Ensure labels are properly calibrated

  • Keep orientation set to Landscape

  • Make sure CUPS and AccelerList settings match

  • Install and run QZ Tray

If everything is set correctly, your MF Location Tickets should print cleanly and consistently on Mac OS ๐Ÿ‘
