Why Your Inventory Quantity Looks Incorrect (Amazon vs AccelerList)

Learn why your inventory quantity may appear different between Amazon and AccelerList, and how item status in Seller Central affects what is shown.

Updated this week

Why Quantities May Not Match

If you notice that your inventory in AccelerList doesn’t match what you see in Amazon, it’s often due to how items are classified based on their status.

👉 AccelerList only displays items as “active” if they are marked as available in Seller Central.

What “Available” Means in Amazon

In Seller Central, inventory can have different statuses, such as:

  • Available

  • Reserved

  • Inbound

  • Unfulfillable

✔ AccelerList behavior:

  • Only counts items that are available for sale

  • Excludes items that are:

    • Reserved (e.g., customer orders or transfers)

    • Inbound (not yet received by Amazon)

    • Unfulfillable

Common Scenarios

📦 Scenario 1: Inventory shows higher in Amazon

  • Amazon may include reserved or inbound units

  • AccelerList only shows available units
👉 Result: AccelerList shows a lower quantity

📉 Scenario 2: Item not appearing in AccelerList

  • The item may not be marked as available in Seller Central
👉 Result: It won’t appear as active in AccelerList

How to Fix or Verify

  1. Go to Seller Central → Manage Inventory

  2. Check the item’s status:

    • Is it marked as Available?

  3. Review breakdown:

    • Available vs Reserved vs Inbound

  4. If needed, run a manual sync in AccelerList

Quick Summary

  • AccelerList only shows items that are available in Seller Central

  • Differences in quantity are usually due to reserved, inbound, or unavailable stock

  • Always check item status in Amazon when quantities don’t match

💡 Tip: If your quantity looks off, it’s usually a status issue—not a sync error 👍
