How AccelerList Determines Your Amazon Inventory Quantity

Learn how AccelerList receives inventory quantities from Amazon and why the quantity displayed in AccelerList may change based on information provided by your Amazon seller account.

Where Does the Inventory Quantity Come From?

AccelerList syncs your inventory information with Amazon. The quantity displayed in AccelerList is based on the inventory data Amazon provides for your listings.

This means that Amazon is generally the source of truth when determining the available quantity for an Amazon listing.

What Can Affect the Quantity?

The quantity AccelerList receives can be affected by factors such as:

  • The quantity currently shown on Amazon

  • Whether the listing is FBA or Merchant Fulfilled (MFN)

  • Changes made directly in Seller Central

  • Sales or inventory adjustments

  • Amazon's processing of recent inventory changes

  • The timing of the latest inventory sync

Why Doesn't My Quantity Match?

If the quantity in AccelerList doesn't match what you expect, first check the corresponding SKU directly in Amazon Seller Central.

If Amazon recently updated the listing, AccelerList may not have received the latest information yet.

What About Cross-Listed Items?

For inventory cross-listed to eBay, AccelerList uses the Amazon inventory quantity to help keep the marketplaces synchronized.

If the quantity on Amazon changes, that updated information must first be received by AccelerList before the corresponding cross-listed inventory can be updated.

Important

If you notice an incorrect quantity in AccelerList, always verify the SKU and quantity in Amazon first. If Amazon is showing the correct quantity but AccelerList continues to display something different, contact AccelerList Support with the ASIN, SKU, and expected quantity so the sync can be investigated.
