Why Does My eBay Listing Keep Getting Relisted?

Learn why eBay listings may automatically relist when linked to Amazon inventory and how to disable multichannel mirroring to prevent future relisting while keeping listings active on both marketplaces.

If you've ended an eBay listing but notice that it keeps reappearing, this is usually caused by AccelerList's multichannel inventory mirroring feature.

By default, AccelerList mirrors the available quantity on Amazon. If an item still has quantity available on Amazon, AccelerList may automatically relist the item on eBay to keep inventory synchronized across marketplaces.

🔄 How Inventory Mirroring Works

When an item is linked between Amazon and eBay:

  • AccelerList monitors the Amazon quantity.

  • Inventory changes on Amazon are mirrored to eBay.

  • If the Amazon listing remains active and has available quantity, AccelerList may relist the item on eBay even if the eBay listing was previously ended.

This helps prevent inventory mismatches and keeps listings synchronized across channels.

⚠️ Why Is My eBay Listing Coming Back?

The most common reason is that:

  • The Amazon listing is still active.

  • The item still has available quantity on Amazon.

  • The Amazon and eBay listings are still linked through multichannel mirroring.

As long as the link remains active, AccelerList will continue syncing inventory between the two marketplaces.

🛑 How to Stop Automatic Relisting

If you want to keep the Amazon listing active but stop syncing inventory to eBay, you can disable mirroring for that specific item.

Steps:

  1. Go to Inventory in AccelerList.

  2. Locate the item.

  3. Click the red arrow link icon beneath the listing.

  4. In the Break Multichannel Link window:

    • Check "Keep listings live on other channels, stop mirroring only"

  5. Click Disconnect.

This breaks the inventory sync while keeping the listings active on their respective marketplaces.

✅ What Happens After Disabling Mirroring?

Once mirroring is disabled:

  • The Amazon listing remains active.

  • The eBay listing remains active (if not ended).

  • Inventory changes on Amazon will no longer affect eBay.

  • AccelerList will not automatically relist the item on eBay based on Amazon quantity updates.

The two listings will function independently.

💡 When Should You Disable Mirroring?

You may want to disable mirroring if:

  • You want separate inventory management for Amazon and eBay.

  • You no longer want the item automatically relisted.

  • You want to manually control inventory quantities on each marketplace.

✅ Summary

By default, AccelerList mirrors inventory quantities between Amazon and eBay. If an item still has available quantity on Amazon, it may automatically relist on eBay. To stop this behavior, break the multichannel link and select "Keep listings live on other channels, stop mirroring only" before disconnecting.
