Keeping your eBay account information up to date is important for managing your seller account and avoiding issues with your listings, payments, and account access.
If you use eBay with AccelerList, certain account changes may also require you to review or reconnect your eBay integration.
What eBay Account Information Can You Update?
Depending on your eBay account, you may be able to update information such as:
Name and contact information
Email address
Phone number
Business information
Addresses
Password and security settings
Payment or payout information
These changes are generally managed directly through your eBay account rather than within AccelerList.
How to Update Your Information on eBay
Sign in to your eBay account and go to your Account Settings. Locate the section containing the information you want to change and follow eBay's instructions to update it.
For security-sensitive changes, eBay may ask you to verify your identity before saving the new information.
Will Updating My eBay Information Affect AccelerList?
Some basic account changes may not affect your AccelerList integration. However, changes involving your account's login, security, permissions, or authorization could require you to reconnect or reauthorize eBay within AccelerList.
After making significant changes to your eBay account, it's a good idea to check your connection in AccelerList.
Go to:
Settings → Connections → eBay
Confirm that your eBay account still shows as successfully connected.
What If eBay Shows as Disconnected?
If your account no longer shows as connected after making changes, try reconnecting it through Settings → Connections → eBay.
When eBay asks you to sign in, make sure you're using the correct seller account and complete the entire authorization process.
Review Your eBay Settings After Making Changes
After updating important account information, you may also want to review your:
Business Policies
Shipping and return settings
Store settings
Seller account information
AccelerList eBay connection
This helps ensure your account is still properly configured before you continue cross-listing.
