Fixing eBay Connection & Authorization Errors

This guide explains why eBay authentication errors happen and how to reconnect your account to restore listing functionality.

Updated over a week ago

This error usually means there is an issue with how your eBay account is connected or authenticated with AccelerList. In simple terms, AccelerList is unable to communicate with your eBay account because the authorization has failed, expired, or is no longer valid.

Why this happens

๐Ÿ”‘ Authentication Token Issues

  • Expired Token
eBay connection tokens expire over time. If your token is no longer valid, AccelerList wonโ€™t be able to perform actions like listing or updating items.

  • Invalid or Revoked Token
Your token may have been revoked (for example, if you changed your eBay password or removed app permissions), making it unusable.

๐Ÿ” Authorization & Account Issues

  • Incorrect or Broken Connection
The connection between AccelerList and your eBay account may not have completed properly.

  • Missing Permissions
Your eBay account may not have granted all required permissions when authorizing AccelerList.

  • eBay Account Changes
Changes such as password resets, security updates, or account restrictions can break the connection.

How to fix it

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Go to AccelerList Settings โ†’ eBay tab

  2. Click Reconnect / Reauthorize eBay account

  3. Log in to your eBay account again

  4. Make sure to accept all permissions ุจุงู„ูƒุงู…ู„ (fully)

  5. Save and retry your action (listing, cross-listing, etc.)

If the issue still persists

  • Log out and back into AccelerList

  • Try reconnecting your eBay account again

  • Check if your eBay account has any restrictions or alerts

  • Reach out to AccelerList support for further assistance

๐Ÿ’ก Tip

This is one of the most common eBay errors and is usually resolved quickly by simply reauthorizing your eBay connection.

One-line summary

This error occurs when your eBay account connection expires or breaks and can usually be fixed by reconnecting your eBay account in AccelerList.
