Does AccelerList Automatically Update When I Change Inventory on Amazon?

Learn how changes made directly to your Amazon inventory are reflected in AccelerList and why some updates may take time to synchronize.

What Happens When I Make a Change on Amazon?

AccelerList regularly receives inventory information from Amazon. If you make a supported inventory change directly in Seller Central, the updated information can be reflected in AccelerList after the next applicable synchronization.

You generally don't need to manually make the same inventory change in AccelerList simply because you changed it on Amazon.

What Changes May Be Reflected?

Depending on the listing and inventory information provided by Amazon, updates can include:

  • Inventory quantity

  • Listing status

  • FBA or MFN information

  • SKU-related inventory information

  • Availability of inventory

Will the Change Appear Immediately?

Not necessarily.

Amazon may need time to process the change before making the updated information available through its API. AccelerList then needs to receive that updated information during synchronization.

Because of this, you may temporarily see different information in Amazon and AccelerList.

What About eBay Cross-Listed Inventory?

If an Amazon item is cross-listed to eBay through AccelerList, Amazon inventory changes can also affect the corresponding eBay inventory once the updated quantity has been received and processed by AccelerList.

Keeping your marketplace connections active is important for this synchronization to work properly.

What If AccelerList Doesn't Update?

First, confirm that the change is showing correctly in Amazon Seller Central.

If Amazon is correct but AccelerList continues to show outdated information after synchronization has had time to occur, contact AccelerList Support and provide the ASIN, SKU, and details of the change so we can investigate further.
