Why Didn’t a Manual Inventory Sync Update My Item?

Explains why manually syncing your inventory doesn't always result in an immediate change and what to check when an item remains outdated after a sync.

What Does a Manual Sync Do?

A manual inventory sync asks AccelerList to retrieve the latest available inventory information from Amazon.

However, a manual sync doesn't force Amazon to finish processing a listing or generate new inventory information.

Why Didn't Anything Change?

If Amazon hasn't yet made the updated information available, performing another sync may simply return the same information.

Other possible reasons include:

  • Amazon is still processing a recent listing or inventory change.

  • The item is under a different fulfillment type than expected.

  • The listing has a quantity of zero.

  • Inventory filters are hiding the item.

  • The SKU or listing status on Amazon has changed.

  • There is a temporary API or synchronization issue.

Verify the Item in Amazon

Before repeatedly running a manual sync, check the SKU directly in Seller Central.

Confirm the:

  • ASIN

  • SKU

  • Quantity

  • Fulfillment method

  • Listing status

Then compare this information with what appears in AccelerList.

Check Your Filters

After syncing, clear or adjust your Inventory tab filters. The sync may have updated the item without placing it in the inventory view you're currently using.

For example, an item may now be under MFN instead of FBA, or it may have a quantity of zero.

When Should I Contact Support?

If the information has been correct in Amazon for an extended period but remains incorrect in AccelerList even after a manual sync, contact AccelerList Support.

Please provide the ASIN, SKU, what Amazon currently shows, and what AccelerList displays. This will give us the information needed to investigate the sync further.
