How to Find Inactive Inventory

Learn how to locate inactive inventory and identify items that may require attention before they can become available for sale again.

Finding Inactive Items in AccelerList

If you're looking for an inactive item in AccelerList, start from the Inventory section and review your inventory status and filters.

Make sure your current filters aren't excluding inactive or zero-quantity inventory.

You can also search using identifying information such as the item's:

  • SKU

  • ASIN

  • Product title

Check Amazon Seller Central

You should also verify the listing directly in Amazon.

In Seller Central:

  1. Go to Inventory → Manage All Inventory.

  2. Change the listing status filter to Inactive.

  3. Search for the affected SKU or ASIN.

  4. Review the listing status and any reason or action Amazon provides.

Amazon's Manage All Inventory tool supports searching by SKU, product name, or ASIN and filtering by active or inactive listing status. Amazon Seller Central

Check for Stranded FBA Inventory

If you're using FBA, also check for stranded inventory.

Stranded inventory occurs when inventory remains in an Amazon fulfillment center but doesn't have an active offer, preventing customers from purchasing it. Sell on Amazon

What Should I Do After Finding It?

Review the reason Amazon provides for the inactive status and complete the required action.

Once the listing becomes active again on Amazon, allow time for the updated information to synchronize with AccelerList.
