In the MyFitCoach app, you can set a focus on specific muscles to tailor your workout plan to your individual needs. To adjust muscle focus, go to “Training Tab” > “Training Profile” > “Muscle Focus” within the app. You can use this feature to concentrate on weak areas, de-emphasize strengths, or completely exclude training certain muscles due to injuries.

Focused Muscles (green):

Select a maximum of two muscles that you would like to focus on in your training. These two muscles will be taken into account in the workout plan with slightly increased volume. You can only select two muscles to ensure that there is an actual "focus".

Neglected Muscles (yellow):

Select muscles that are disproportionately strong compared to the rest of your musculature and should receive less training volume. The de-emphasized muscles will receive enough volume to grow but relatively less than the unselected or focused muscles.

Example: If you play soccer three times a week and want to train your legs less to promote recovery, choose this option.

Excluded Muscles (red):

Select muscles that cannot be trained due to injuries or surgeries. You will receive a training plan without specific exercises for these muscles. To be safe, also use the “Excluded Exercises” feature.

Example: After knee surgery, you are allowed to engage all muscles except your thighs and calves. In this case, you can exclude leg extensions, leg curls, and calves.

All muscles that are not selected in any of the 3 options will be trained with normal volume. Of course, there might be additional reasons for the respective categories that we have not listed. Customize the options individually in the app and change them at any time if necessary.
