Why does MyFitCoach give me a prescription with 60 repetitions?
Why does MyFitCoach give me a prescription with 60 repetitions?

If you're dealing with a too-high repetition suggestion, here you'll find the most common issue.

Reason for the unusually high repetition count

If you receive a suggestion for 60 repetitions per set for an exercise, this is typically due to the weights you've set as available. For instance, if you've indicated that the highest weight you have available is 20 kg (45 lbs), but you can actually lift 100 kg (225 lbs) for 5 repetitions, MyFitCoach will not exceed these 20 kg (45 lbs).

How to fix the issue

To resolve this, go to "Available Weights" for the concerned exercise and check if the weights you've set there are correct. If you're unsure how to properly set the available weights, you can find a detailed description in our Help Center article "How do I indicate the weights available for an exercise?".

If you've correctly set your available weights and the suggestion for 60 repetitions per set still persists, please don't hesitate to contact our support at support@myfitcoach.de. We're happy to help and find a solution for your problem.
