*New Feature Coming Soon! In the next few months, we will be releasing an update where you can attach as many receipts to one single claim as needed, as long as they are in the same benefit year and for the same patient and category! The below instructions are a workaround in the meantime*

In navigating the realm of reimbursing health expenses, myHSA stands out as a user-friendly platform, catering to both individual and bulk claim submissions. Whether through the app or desktop interface, the process remains simple. Here are some instructions for you!

To Submit the claim:

Click "Make a Claim" : Whether using the myHSA app on your mobile device or the desktop version, locate and access the claim section to begin the process. On the App, this is a little "Plus" Icon that looks like this:

On the website, it looks like this:

Attaching Receipts: If you select the "Multiple Allowable" category, you can attach up to 10 receipts. Any other category will allow you to submit 5 receipts.

Select Claim Details: Choose the appropriate claimant, category, and subcategory aligning with the expenses incurred. For clarification on categorization, the live chat feature is available to assist.

Select Service Date: The system allows for one service date to be selected. You can select the earliest one out of all your receipts.

Enter Reimbursement Amount: Enter the sum of the receipts as the total amount for reimbursement. If it's a claim following an insurance payment, input only the amount to be reimbursed. Don't forget to attach the insurer's statement displaying their payment details.

Submit: Once all details are accurately entered and receipts attached, click the submit button! If our adjudicators require anything else to complete your claim, they will reach out via email. If approved, it will pay out the following Wednesday or Friday after approval!
