Managing your claims efficiently is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring that only the necessary expenses are processed. If you need to cancel a claim on myHSA, follow the steps outlined below.

Cancelling a Pending or Approved (Not Yet Paid) Claim

  1. Go to the "View Claims" Tab:

    • Log in to your myHSA account.

    • Navigate to the "View Claims" tab to see a list of your submitted claims.

  2. Select the Claim to Cancel:

    • Find the claim you wish to cancel from the list.

    • Click the "Edit" button next to the claim.

  3. Cancel the Claim:

    • Inside the claim details, look for the red button labeled "Cancel."

    • Click "Cancel" and confirm your decision to cancel the claim.

    • The claim will then be marked as "Deleted" in your "View Claims" tab and will not be processed further.

Reversing a Paid Claim

If the claim has already been paid out and you need to have it reversed, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Support:

    • In your email, include a request to reverse the claim and provide relevant details such as the claim number and reason for reversal.
