February 2026 Release Notes

Updated this week

New Feature Highlights

High-Speed Scanning Enhancements for Product Transfers & Putaway

By introducing smarter scanning logic and location-locking capabilities, we have reduced manual data entry and repetitive steps for two of our most critical inventory movement flows: Product Transfer and Directed Product Putaway.

Key Enhancements

  • One-by-One Scanning Mode: Users can now process items for transfers rapidly without manually entering quantities. Each individual scan triggers a complete, immediate transfer of the scanned item, allowing for the continuous movement of goods.

  • Source Location Locking: A new Lock Source Location toggle enables users to keep a specific bin or tote active across multiple transfers. This eliminates the need to re-scan the source location when moving various items from a single point, significantly decreasing the time spent in the process.

  • Optimized User Experience: The mobile UI has been refined with improved focus logic to ensure the cursor is always in the right field for the next scan, keeping the workflow fluid and error-free.

Volume-Based LP Putaway

Logiwa IO has expanded its existing volume-based putaway functionality to include License Plate (LP) Putaway. This enhancement allows the system to factor in the physical footprint of handling units—such as pallets or totes—ensuring that suggested locations can physically accommodate the LP, not just the products within it. (42429, 44892)

Key Enhancements

  • Precision Footprint Calculation: The putaway engine now evaluates the subject LP's specific dimensions (L x W x H) or designated volume against a location's remaining capacity to guarantee a physical fit.

  • Comprehensive Fit Analysis: To achieve optimal fitting, the putaway engine simultaneously calculates the volume or dimensions of the subject LP, any other LPs already occupying the location, and all loose items currently stored there.

Work Order Open API Expansion

This release expands the Kit Management and Work Order capabilities of the Open API. Developers and integrators now have access to a full suite of endpoints to manage the entire work order lifecycle remotely from external systems.

New endpoints are listed below as well as included in the Swagger documentation.

New Open API Endpoints

  • Create Work Order: POST /v3.1/WorkOrder/create

  • Get Work Order: GET /v3.1/WorkOrder/{identifier}

  • Update Work Order: PUT /v3.1/WorkOrder/update

  • Delete Work Order: DELETE /v3.1/WorkOrder/{identifier}

  • List Work Orders: GET /v3.1/WorkOrder/list/i/{index}/s/{size}

  • List Work Order Tags: GET /v3.1/WorkOrder/list/tags

  • Create Kit: POST /v3.1/WorkOrder/create-kit

  • Disassemble Kit: POST /v3.1/Inventory/disassemble-kit

Enhanced Shortage Management for Packing & Picking

We have introduced comprehensive support for "Pack Short" workflows across both Single and Multi-Order Packing, ensuring that missing items are accurately tracked and labeled without breaking the operational flow.

Key Enhancements

  • Comprehensive Pack Short Support: Users can now report shortages directly within both Single and Multi-Order Packing flows. The system handles the remaining unscanned items once a shortage is triggered, making the process fluid and intuitive.

  • Dynamic Shortage Labeling: Introduced the "Pack Short Label" specifically for missing items. These labels are dynamic—listing only the unscanned goods—and support both 4x6 and A4 formats via the Report Designer.

  • Optimized Picking Resolution: The picking workflow now automatically prompts the "Pick Short" dialog when a discrepancy is found. Additionally, tasks with open shortages are hidden from the mobile UI to keep pickers focused on actionable work.

  • Granular Visibility & Control: New "Pack Short Status" columns and filters have been added to shipment grids. Discrepancies can now be managed and cleared independently through dedicated "Resolve" actions in the operations menu.

High-Volume Packing & Compliance Enhancements

We have significantly upgraded the Packing Station to support high-speed, individual package processing and automated compliance labeling. These enhancements are driven by three key configurations designed to eliminate manual clicks and speed up the packing flow.

Key Enhancements

  • Individual Package Processing: When enabled, the system treats each package as an independent unit. A unique carrier label is automatically generated and printed the moment a package is closed, ensuring a continuous flow for high-velocity shipments.

  • Streamlined "Scan-to-Close" Logic: This feature optimizes packing for bulk or case-level orders. Instead of scanning individual items, scanning a higher-level pack type (such as an outer carton or full case) will automatically close the package, drastically reducing the number of required scans/clicks.

  • Automated UCC Compliance: To ensure retail and GS1 compliance, the Auto-Print UCC Labels parameter can now be toggled to automatically generate a GS1-128 label every time a package is closed, removing the need for manual print triggers.

What's New/Improved

  • We have optimized how Identical Multi-SKU Orders (e.g., 200 orders each containing 1 pen and 2 pencils) are handled during AI Job Optimization. Previously treated as standard multi-item orders requiring a sorting step, these identical sets can now be separated into dedicated batches for bulk picking and batch packing.

  • Enhanced the billing module to support Product (UOM Quantity) as a charge-by option for tier-based picking fees, allowing more accurate billing for mixed unit/case orders. (45997)

  • Updated the default email sender name to "Logiwa IO Notification" and refined Welcome and Password Reset email templates for better branding consistency. (44696)

  • Added a barcode command (closelp) to the Packing Station, allowing users to close packages via scanner without touching the screen. (39366)

  • Resolved data conflicts caused by recycled USPS tracking numbers by archiving old License Plates (older than 30 days) before creating new ones with the same tracking number. (47358)

  • Enhanced Parent LP labels by adding new data fields to display the total count of cartons and child License Plates contained within the parent pallet. (39333)

  • Renamed "Reports & Analytics" menu & role names to "Reports" in the header menu and role screen.(46251)

  • Modernized Mobile App Interface & Layout: Starting with the Transfer flows, we have introduced a refreshed visual design for the mobile app with higher color contrast and larger buttons for easier navigation, utilizing a flexible layout that organizes data into simplified, expandable sections to ensure a consistent experience on any device as we continue to roll this design out across the platform over time.

  • Enhanced the Amazon order download process to automatically map full state names to their corresponding state codes for US and Canadian addresses. (44371)

What's Fixed

  • Resolved an issue where Cycle Count approvals failed to recognize existing inventory due to case sensitivity in Lot Numbers when Receiving Date or PO Number tracking is enabled on the inventory. (47382)

  • Fixed a bug where Client and Warehouse fields appeared blank on the Summary tab when editing an existing Purchase Order. (46268)

  • Added validation to the Bulk Kit Component Import to prevent converting products with incompatible attributes (e.g., serial tracking) into kits. (43603)

  • Resolved a display issue on the Mobile Transfer Product screen where higher pack items showed incorrect quantities due to duplicate records created when deleted pack types were re-created with identical naming. (35010)

  • Improved the logic for Location Zone and Group display on mobile picking to accurately reflect "Multiple" values when a job covers mixed locations. (44835)

  • Improved the Shipment Order Excel update logic to correctly handle empty cells and asterisks, ensuring existing data is preserved or cleared only when explicitly requested. (44008)

  • Fixed an issue where picking an irregular quantity from a case incorrectly generated a sorting task for the full case instead of the specific unit count. (45556)

  • Fixed an issue on the Packing Station dashboard where applying a saved filter incorrectly redirected the user to the main dashboard. (41414)

  • Implemented a locking mechanism at the Packing Station to prevent multiple packers from being assigned the same order simultaneously. (45795)

  • Added a clear error message on the mobile Loading screen to inform users when no active shipment plans are available. (46378)

  • Resolved an error that prevented users from saving changes to the ShipStation store connection settings. (46473)

Open API Updates

  • Improved error handling on the Purchase Order Receive API to provide clear messages when an invalid License Plate Type is provided. (41700)

  • Standardized the date format in the Purchase Order Status Change webhook to ensure consistent ISO 8601 compliance. (45766)

  • Updated the Shipment Order Status Change webhook to include an actionDateTime timestamp, ensuring accurate performance tracking regardless of notification latency. (46412)
