You may need to cancel a purchase order due to invalid information, a mistake during creation, or a number of other reasons. With just a few clicks, you can cancel a purchase order, as long as it is still in the Pending status.
Step-by-Step Guide
- First, navigate to the Purchase Orders screen. - If you cannot find the screen, please use the Search Option on the menu bar. 
 
- Choose a purchase order or orders with the Pending status. 
- Select Cancel Order. 
- A pop-up asking if you want to cancel the selected order or orders will be displayed. - Keep in mind that after cancelling an order, you cannot update it anymore. 
 
- Click Yes to proceed. 
- You will receive a confirmation message if the order was successfully cancelled. 
- You can also check if the order was cancelled from the table. 
- Alternatively, you can view/edit a specific purchase order with the Pending status and directly click the Cancel Order button in the upper right corner. 
- A pop-up asking if you want to cancel the order will be displayed. Click on Yes to proceed. 
- You can now see if the order status has changed to Cancelled from Pending.
