The "Cancel Picking" button allows users to revert orders back to an "Open" status, canceling all associated warehouse tasks and freeing up the inventory previously allocated to those orders.

This feature can be found on the Shipment Order screen within the Order Backlog tab.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Select Orders:
Navigate to the Order Backlog tab on the Shipment Order screen and select the order(s) you wish to cancel picking for.

  2. Access Warehouse Ops:
Click the Warehouse Ops button, located in the action toolbar at the top of the grid.

  3. Cancel Picking:
From the dropdown menu, select the Cancel Picking button to initiate the process.

What Happens When You Cancel Picking:

  • The selected order(s) revert to the "Open" status.

  • All pending tasks related to those order(s) are canceled.
(Completed Tasks remain as "Completed" in Task Details screen)

  • Inventory allocated to the order(s) is returned to stock and available for future orders.

Important Considerations:

  • Eligible Statuses: Only orders with the status Ready to Pick are eligible for canceling. Orders in Open, Shortage, On Hold, Canceled, or Shipped statuses cannot be selected for this action.

  • Performance Limitation: To maintain system performance, this action is limited to 100 orders at a time.

This feature ensures warehouse operations remain flexible and allows for quick adjustments to order fulfillment workflows.
