Cancel a Received Line

How to cancel a received line within a purchase order.

Are you not 100% sure if you received a specific SKU within a purchase order as planned? Would you like to easily cancel the record belonging to this received line? This article will demonstrate how you can cancel a received line.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • First, navigate to the Receiving History screen.

    • If you cannot find the screen, please use the Search Option on the menu bar.

  • Click the 3-Dot menu of the received line you wish to edit and select the Cancel button.

    • Keep in mind that you can only cancel the received line if the related purchase order is is not completed or product is not putaway to another location.

  • Click Yes to proceed.

  • You can now check if the line has been cancelled and can be received for the same purchase order.

    • Keep in mind: If you cancel a received line of a purchase order with only one SKU inside, the status of the purchase order will change from Started to Pending

    • If there are multiple SKUs in the order and you cancel only one of them, then the status of the purchase order will remain Started.
