How to create damage reasons to be used in your operations.

This document covers how to create the damage reasons that can be applied to damaged products in your warehouse. Creating damage reasons is an important step in data setup, as it affects the mobility of products, and correct damage reason labeling can be used to track and identify issues within the warehouse.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • To begin, navigate to the Data Setup screen.

  • Select Damage Reasons from the left sidebar.

  • Click on Create New Damage Reasons in the upper right corner.

  • Enter the damage reason. This can be fairly general like "broken," but we recommend getting specific to help create more accurate data in the future.

  • After you have entered the new damage reason, just click the Save button.

  • You can now see the new damage reason in the available list. You can enable/disable this damage reason by clicking the toggle.
