Encouraging efficient warehouse operations, our latest addition, Location Barcodes under the Locations screen, provides a unique solution. When you set unique barcodes for locations, the system will show the Location Code on mobile screen but expect scanning of the location barcodes for verification. This change discourages the manual entry of location codes and requires that users go to the locations physically. This ensures a streamlined and accurate location tracking process, enhancing overall operational precision.
Location Barcodes on Desktop
The Display Member field has been renamed to Cell Display Member and is now exclusive to Mobile Carts.
The Location Barcode field is now part of the table on the Location screen.
When creating a Location, the Location Barcode is automatically set as the Location Code. However, users can still enter manual data for the location barcode if needed, so it is editable.
Location Barcodes Update on API
The Location Barcode field is now updateable via API.
APIs have been updated to include the Location Barcode field. If sent empty, it is automatically populated with the Location Code.
Location Barcodes Update on Excel Import/Export
The Location Barcode field is now updateable via Excel Import.
Excel Import has been updated to include the Location Barcode field. If uploaded empty, it is automatically populated with the Location Code.
Additionally, the Location Barcode field is now available in Location Excel Export.
Location Label Printout Updates
The Location Label printout barcode has been updated to incorporate the new Location Barcode field.
