How to Manage Digital Products in Shopify

How to set products in Shopify as physical or digital.

In Shopify, you can manage whether your products are physical or digital.

When an item is not flagged with the This is a physical product checkbox (shown below), Logiwa's Shopify integration recognizes these product during the order download process and does not download them. Likewise, products that are marked as physical products will be downloaded.

If there are any non-physical products included in the order, the system will not download them during the Download Order process as long as they are not flagged with this check box. Thus, you will only see products marked with "This is a physical product" in the order created in Logiwa.

Then, after the picking, packing, and shipping process, our integration will send fulfillment information to Shopify only for those physical products.

If these items are expected to be fulfilled automatically, please create an automation rule in Shopify that will flag digital products as fulfilled.
