Logiwa manages USB scale integration with PrintNode. You'll need to enter email and password information in LogiwaIO Add-On Scale setup so that the entered credential can be used in the Printnode as a child account in Logiwa’s account.

In order to setup scale connection in all of the computers in the packing stations, the PrintNode .exe file should be downloaded and set up in all packing station computers.

Please follow the steps explained below:

  • Download the Client Version that matches the platform you will use to access your USB printer.

    • This version will differ based on how you're accessing the printer. For example, a tablet may run on Windows, or something else. PrintNode provides a number of options beyond Windows and Apple.

  • After downloading, it's time to start setup. Begin setup as you normally would from your device.

  • Proceed until you reach the Select Additional Tasks section. For Windows users, check Install PrintNode as a Windows Service parameter. Agree to run the Windows Service.

  • After installation completes, check Open PrintNode Web Interface box and, for Windows installation, also check Start PrintNode Service.

  • Click Finish to finalize the setup.

  • A LocalHost tab will open. Login to the PrintNode web interface with your PrintNode account details. (The credentials that you entered in the Add-On screen)

  • After successful login, a confirmation screen will appear. From this screen, select Scales from the top bar. Copy the Device Name to use this information in a later process.

  • Check that scales are enabled. If you have a scale attached to your computer, you will see the scale and the weight parameter on the list.

Printnode .exe file (for Windows 10 and Windows 11):
