Once you've set up the Trev + Gallagher Integration connection, weight sessions will automatically flow through to the Trev weights module overnight as a new weight events, in either draft or confirmed state, depending on your connection settings.
Handling incoming Gallagher weight events:
If your connection settings are set to bring weight events in in a draft state, these will appear in blue at the top of your Weight Events section within the Weights module.
From here you can:
Confirm the event simply by clicking the green tick icon.
Edit the event by clicking on the blue edit (pencil) icon. This will allow you to edit the Notes and References section and assign the weight event to one of your Trev mobs. The other event details are locked (e.g. date, number of animals, average weight) as this information comes directly from Gallagher. To adjust these details you will need to update the session details in the Gallagher Animal Performance platform.
Reject the event by clicking the red rubbish bin icon. If you reject the event by accident, this can be restored from within the Gallagher Integration menu.
If your connection settings are set to bring weight events in as "confirmed" then there is nothing more you need to do to make sure the event is included in your farms analytics. However, you may choose to edit the event to assign the weight event to a certain Trev mob or include any extra Notes/References.
If you have a new Gallagher weigh event that you want to show up in Trev sooner, there are a couple of ways you can manually trigger a Gallagher sync.
Triggering a manual sync from within the reporting process:
From the Home page, click into the current weekly report for the farm that you want to trigger the manual sync for.
From the drop-down menu, select the Weights module.
At the bottom left of the weight module page, there will be a 'Sync with Gallagher' button, click that button.
A pop-up will appear with a list of the weight events you already have. Click the Sync now button to fetch recent sessions.
Triggering a manual sync from within the integrations menu:
Click on the menu icon (the three lines) in the top left corner of the dashboard.
Select Integrations from the menu.
Locate the Gallagher tile on the Integrations landing page and click on 'Manage Connection'.
From the list of connected farms, select 'Manage data' to the right-hand side of the farm you want to trigger the manual sync for.
To trigger the manual sync, click the blue 'Sync with Gallagher' button on the top right of the page.
Reviewing your Liveweight records
For a closer look at your Liveweight records, check out the Liveweights report:
Click on the menu icon (the three lines) in the top left corner of the dashboard
Select Analytics from the menu.
Scroll down to Detailed reports and select the Liveweights report.
This will bring up a report of all your weight events.
To take a closer look at a weight session, click the 'eye' symbol of the right-hand side of the event. This will bring up the Detailed view of the event, from here click View session.
A pop-up modal will appear, providing the list of animals and their weights as well as a summary of the event - number of animals, minimum and maximum weight and average weight of the group.
To view a distribution chart of the session, click the bar graph symbol below the 'Number of Animals' tile.
