Sync your weight data for top-notch decision making. Integrating Trev and Gallagher aligns your two systems to save time, reduce pain and increase your confidence in your records.

A few housekeeping matters about the Trev + Gallagher Integration before we get started:

What data is shared through the Trev + Gallagher integration?

The Trev + Gallagher integration enables the transmission of liveweight data from Gallagher to Trev.

In this instance, liveweight data refers to:

  • Date the weight session took place

  • Number of animals

  • Average weight

  • Weight of the heaviest animal

  • Weight of the lightest animal

Who can create and maintain the Trev + Gallagher integration?

A user must have Full Access or Authorised access in Trev to connect a farm to a Gallagher account.

The connection settings for a farm that is mapped to Gallagher can be updated by any user with Full Access or Authorised access to that farm in Trev.

Once a farm is mapped to Gallagher any user with sufficient access to create or edit data in Trev (Full Access, Authorised, Editor and Reporter) can alter the data that is pulled through from Gallagher.

How will your Trev data be shared?

Your data will be transmitted via secure API from Gallagher to Trev. This data will load into the Weights module of your weekly Trev report.

Data will sync through automatically overnight but you also have the option to trigger a manual sync at any time.
