Getting started:

  • Make sure you’re all set up with a Trev account:

    • You have an active Trev login and can access go.mytrev.com

    • You have Full Access or Authorised access to any farms you wish to connect to Gallagher. You can check your farm access levels here.

    • The farm you want to connect with Gallagher has a Trev Pro subscription.

  • Make sure you’re all set up with Gallagher:

    • You have an active Gallagher login

    • Your Gallagher login is associated with the farm that you wish to connect with Trev.

Getting connected:

Once you've reviewed the Getting started checklist above you'll want to connect your Trev account with your Gallagher account. Here's how:

  1. Click on the menu icon (the three lines) in the top left corner of the dashboard.

  2. Select Integrations from the menu

  3. Locate the Gallagher tile on the Integrations landing page and click on “Connect”.

  4. Next you'll see a list of your farms, if you have the appropriate level of access, a Connect button will show to the right of the farm name. Select the farm you want to connect (farms must be connected one at a time) and click "Connect"

  5. After clicking connect, you’ll be prompted with an overview and will be asked to agree with the terms of the Integration. You will be able to find further details on the Integration and the full Terms and Conditions by clicking on the links provided. If you’re happy with the terms of the Integration, click the "I Agree" button.

  6. This will direct you to a Gallagher login screen where you can enter the credentials of your Gallagher account for your chosen farm.

  7. Once you’ve entered and confirmed your Gallagher login details you will be asked to configure the settings for the integration. First, you need to set the Date Synchronisation Range which sets the start date from which the sessions will pull in from, this means you can set it to a date in the past if you want to bring in historical data. You must set a start date but you can leave the end date open ended.

  8. Second, you will need to set the Data State that you want the Gallagher data to be imported in to Trev as. We recommend the draft setting, which means Trev will shape up the weight events as a draft event but then these will need to be checked over and confirmed in Trev's weekly reporting process. If you prefer you can set weight events to come in as confirmed.

  9. Once you are happy with the controls you've set for the integration, click 'Create Connection'

How to remove the connection:

If you wish to remove the connection, follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to the "Integrations" page and select "Manage Connections" on the Gallagher tile.

  2. Select the "Manage Connection" button on the farms which connection you are looking to remove.

  3. Down the bottom there will be a "Delete" button. Select this and then confirm the deletion with the "Yes, Delete Connection" button.
