Create Amazon FBA Shipments and print FBA Labels within Neatoscan

Overview

If you’ve activated FBA in Seller Central, Neatoscan lets you scan items and prepare shipments to Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers. This guide walks through the steps to create FBA shipments in Neatoscan.


Step 1: How to Enable FBA

  1. In Neatoscan, navigate to settings.

  2. Click on the FBA tab.

  3. Check the box next to Enable FBA.

Step 2: How to Start an FBA Shipment

  1. Log into Neatoscan and click Pre-scanning and receiving.

  2. Click the FBA tab.

  3. Click the + Shipment button.

  4. In the pop-up box, name the shipment or keep the default date and click Ok.

  5. Toggle the shipment open.

  6. Select the newly created Unpacked Items under the shipment.

  7. Click the Source tab.

  8. Select Source.

  9. Navigate to the Details tab.

Step 3: How to Add Items to an FBA Shipment & Submit them

  1. Scan an item and select the item condition.

    1. An FNSKU will print for the scanned item.

  2. After scanning all items, click the FBA tab to begin the process of preparing the shipment to Amazon.

  3. Right-click the shipment and select Check for Gated Items.

    1. This checks to see if any items in the shipment would be rejected by Amazon.

  4. Right-click the shipment again and click Submit to Amazon.

Step 4: How to Set Box Information

  1. Right-click the shipment you want to box and click Box Shipment to navigate to the Submit at End Boxing Tool screen.

  2. Select the type of shipment you are working on. Either Single Boxes (Non-LTL) or Pallet of Boxes (LTL).

  3. Select a shipment to start working on it by clicking Select Shipment in the Shipments area of the screen.

    1. The first box in the shipment will automatically be added.

  4. Scan the FNSKU of each book.

    1. If the book belongs in the shipment the title of the book will appear in green at the bottom of the Submit at End Boxing Tool screen.

    2. If the book does not belong in the shipment, an error message will appear.

  5. Once the box is full, enter the dimensions and weight into the Working Shipment screen.

  6. (Optional) If additional boxes are needed, click Add Another Box and continue scanning items. Repeat this step until all items are scanned for each shipment.

  7. Once all items are scanned and the dimensions and weight of the shipping box are entered, click the “Done” button at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: How to Close an FBA Shipment

After all boxes have been created in NeatoScan, and the shipment is ready to be closed out on Amazon:

  1. Right-click on the shipment and click Get Manifest 2D Barcodes to print out QR codes for each box in the shipment.

  2. Right-click on the shipment and click Confirm Sizes to confirm the box sizes for the shipment.

  3. Right-click on the shipment and click View on Seller Central, this will navigate you to Amazon Seller Central.

  4. Confirm the details of the items and shipment, and purchase shipping labels.
