Overview

This article goes over the various ways you can shelve, audit, or view details of your items using the Neatoscan Auctions app or Listing section of Neatoscan Collectibles. Due to the user permissions set up for your account or the software version on your device, the user interface may vary from the ones shown in this article.

Shelve Trackables

Shelving using “Shelve Trackables” on the Neatoscan Auctions app is the most common method of shelving items. Typically, this process is done once the item(s) are finalized. Once you are logged into the mobile app, follow the steps below.

  1. Tap on “Tracking”.

  2. Choose “Shelve Trackables”.

  3. Scan the Location where you will be shelving the item, or tap the barcode icon to use the camera to scan instead.

  4. Scan the item you will be shelving or tap the barcode icon to use the camera to scan instead.

💡Tip: If you have multiple items you would like to scan into the same location, you can continue scanning each item without having to re-scan the location again.

Shelve by Manifest

The Shelve by Manifest feature allows you to shelve items straight from the containers once they are received. This is most commonly used to shelve items to a cart, or where they will then be sent to a listing station. Once you log in to the mobile app, follow the steps below.

🗒️Note: If your team doesn’t receive and sort containers, this feature will not apply.

  1. Tap on “Tracking”.

  2. Choose “Shelve by Manifest”.

  3. Scan the container that holds the items you want to shelve.

  4. Select the items you would like to be shelved. When you have items that need to go to different locations, only pick the ones that are meant for the location you're dealing with right now.

  5. Scan the location where you will be shelving the item, or tap the barcode icon to use the camera to scan instead.

  6. Select “OK” on the pop-up alert that confirms how many items you selected and shelved to the selected location.

  7. Choose either “Yes” or “No” if you would like to retire the container or not.

Shelving from the Listing Section

Items can be shelved from the listing screen rather than the mobile app if needed. Using a mobile device for shelving is recommended, but in situations like selecting a shelving cart or moving an oversized item to a holding area, this feature can be very useful. The information below will guide you through two methods of selecting a shelving location on the listing screen.

Shelving by Scanning the Item Tag

To shelve the item by scanning the shelf barcode, you will need to have a USB or Bluetooth scanner connected to the device you are using.

  1. Click on the location textbox.

  2. Scan the barcode of the location where you are shelving your item to.

Shelving Without Scanning the Location Tag

If you don't have a scanner connected to your device, you can choose a location using the dropdown menu.

  1. Click on the location dropdown menu.

  2. Select your location. (Make sure to select the shelf or other lowest level.)

Trackable Details

The Trackable Details feature gives the ability to view the details of items by scanning the item tag. This is very useful if an item is misplaced or you need to know the listing status of an item. The steps below demonstrate how to use this feature in more detail.

  1. Tap on “Tracking”.

  2. Choose “Trackable Details”.

  3. Scan the item’s tag or tap the barcode icon to use the camera to scan instead. Now, the item's details will be displayed.

Viewable Item details:

  • Item Title: The title your item/listing was given.

  • Item Photo: The photo taken and uploaded to your listing.

  • Product Status: The status your item is in. (e.g., Incomplete, Listed, Errored, etc…)

  • Location: The warehouse location the item is shelved in.

  • Origin: The location that the item came from. (e.g., Store 1)

  • Listed By: The user that listed the item.

  • Shelved By: The user that shelved the item.

  • Photographed By: The user that added photos to the items listing.

  • Unit Weight: The weight of the item.

Shelving Audit

When Auditing your inventory, the Shelving Audit tool is the most efficient method. Using this feature gives users the ability to scan a shelf and then confirm each item is there. This prevents misplaced or missing items from selling.

  1. Tap on “Tracking”.

  2. Choose “Shelving Audit”.

  3. Scan the Location that you would like to audit, or tap the barcode icon to use the camera to scan instead.

  4. Begin scanning the items on the shelf. You can also use the on-screen Checkbox or X to choose if an item is on the shelf or not.

  5. A pop-up alert will notify you once the audit is complete for that shelf. Click “OK” to continue.

Audit Buttons

When Auditing your shelves, use the check button or scan the item to confirm your item is in the correct location. If the item isn’t on the shelf you are auditing, use the “X” button to remove and purge it from your inventory.
