This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to download AnyDesk and use it to allow Neatoscan support to log into your machine. AnyDesk is a remote desktop application that allows support teams to access your computer for troubleshooting and assistance.


How to Download and Install Anydesk

  1. In your browser, go to uprightlabs.com/neatoscan-downloads/.

  2. From the website, click Anydesk, then click Download AnyDesk.

  3. Select your file location, then click Save. From here, the download will begin.

  4. Once the download is complete, open your downloaded file from your browser or your file manager.


Using Anydesk for Neatoscan Support

  1. Once Andydesk is opened, look for your Anydesk address and read this off to the Neatoscan team member.

  2. Click Accept to allow the Neatoscan team member to remote in and access your computer.

  3. Once the support or training call is over, if the Neatoscan team member hasn’t left yet, you can disconnect manually by clicking Disconnect.

Access Control

  • Scheduled Sessions Only: Neatoscan will never access your computer without your knowledge. Remote access is only initiated during scheduled calls or meetings.

  • Do Not Allow Unattended Access: You will not need to allow AnyDesk access when the application is not open or via password. Neatoscan support will not request unattended access to your machine. If you choose to enable this and request it, we can accommodate.

Best Practices

  • Verify Requests: Always verify that you are on with a member of the Neatoscan or Upright team before accepting an AnyDesk connection request.

  • Close AnyDesk After Use: Once the support and training session is complete, disconnect or close AnyDesk to prevent any unauthorized access.
