If the charging indicator does not change after placing your lamp on the charger, try the following steps:
Clean the charging contacts
Use a clean, dry cloth to gently wipe the charging pins on the charger and the contact point on the base of the Light Engine. Dirt, grease, or grime can interrupt the connection between the lamp and charger.
Check the charger’s pins
Inspect the two metal pins in the charger’s port. Both pins should be visible and at identical heights to ensure they make contact with the base of your Light Engine at the same time. If a pin appears stuck, damaged, or uneven, it may prevent proper charging.
Check battery installation
Ensure the lamp’s battery is correctly installed. A misaligned or improperly inserted battery can prevent charging.
Check the power cord
Make sure the charger’s power cord is securely connected to both the charger and the wall outlet or power source.
If the issue persists after these checks, the battery may have reached the end of its service life or there may be a fault with the charger that requires repair.
