Adding contact notes to your donors' profiles helps you build stronger relationships, personalize outreach, and improve team coordination. With clear records of past interactions, preferences, and giving history, you can create a more meaningful donor experience that drives engagement, boosts retention, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks - even as your team grows or changes.
Step 1: Navigate to the contact's profile
From your 'Donor Management' Dashboard, navigate to the contact's profile.
Step 2: Choose how you want to add your note
There are several quick ways to add your note -
a) If you want to pin your note to the top of the contact's profile, click the 'Add pinned note' link highlighted in the screenshot below:
b) Under the 'Interactions' section, click the 'Add New' button to expand a dropdown menu and select 'Note'.
c) You can also scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the 'Add' button in the 'Notes' section.
Step 3: Add your note
Regardless of how you add your note, a pop-up window will appear where you can add details about the contact, attach files, and pin the note to the top of the contact's profile for easy visibility.
Once you are finished, click the 'Add Note' button to save your note!
