How do I locate previous imports and exports?
Updated over a week ago

You may run into situations where you'll need to locate a previously performed import - such as to correct errors identified in that import, or to cross-reference historical records located in another system.

Similarly, there may be some instances where you need to access a previously exported report – maybe you have to compare reports year-over-year, or you’re trying to determine why something looks different than it did in your records previously.

Below, we'll walk through how to access both prior imports and exports easily through Donor Management.

Locating and Downloading Previous Imports

Step 1: Select "Settings," than "Imports."

Step 2: Locate the import you're looking for.

You should now be able to see your completed import within a list of all prior imports.

Step 3: Select "Actions" next to that specific import, then select "Download."

Locating and Downloading Previous Exports

You can easily access previously exported files in Donor Management in one of two ways - we'll go through how to locate both imports and exports in the steps below.

Step 1: Select "Settings," then "Exports.

Step 1: Locate the URL in your browser.

You can also use a nifty trick to access your old exports – by modifying the URL (or link) that you use to access Donor Management.

From the Dashboard, you’ll want to locate the URL in your browser’s search bar. It should look something like:

OR

Step 2: Modify the URL to "redirect" to your Exports screen.

Within that URL that you just located, delete the word “dashboard” at the end of that link (leaving the backslash!), and instead type the word “exports.” The link should then look like:

If you then hit the “Enter” button on your keyboard, the page should refresh and display a list of all of the exports that have been pulled from your Donor Management platform.
