They say a picture is worth a thousand words - but what about a video?
Donor Management gives you the ability to record a personalized video for each donation that you receive, and send that message to your donors via email or text message.

Sending Video Acknowledgements from Your Computer
You'll first want to go directly to the donor's profile by searching for their name - or you can locate the specific donation you're acknowledging by navigating to the "Giving" tab from the left-hand navigation.
Once you've located the donation, you'll want to click on the small arrow next to the orange "exclamation mark" beside the donation, and select the option to "Record a Video."
You'll then be asked to enter (or confirm!) your mobile number - you'll then want to click on the option to "Send Link."
At this point, you should receive a text message to the number that you entered with a URL link. You can click on this link to record the video using your phone's camera, make any updates to the message you're sending - and then send the completed video to your donor via text or email.
You may be prompted to login to your account on your phone before you send a video - that's normal, expected behavior! You can simply log in and continue the process.
At this point, the video will have been sent to the donor - and that donation will automatically reflect as "acknowledged" moving forward. Your donor will receive a link (either via text or via email) to the personal video that you just recorded, and can reply or react to the video as they see fit.

Additional Tips and Tricks for Video Acknowledgements
We recommend making it clear that this acknowledgement was personalized and made specifically for your donor by including their name at the beginning and end of the video.
Make your donor feel involved with your organization through the video acknowledgement - your smiling face is more than enough, but we also recommend showing your donor something that connects their donation to the overall impact it'll have.
Keep the video acknowledgement short and sweet - ideally, under a minute is just enough time to get your point across in a video, while still making it sound personal.
Video acknowledgements are meant to be "informal" - so don't overthink it! It can be as simple as a "selfie-style" video at your desk, thanking your donor for their support.
Please, please, please do not record video acknowledgements while you are driving. (Yes, we do actually have to say this.)
