Allowing Supporters to Donate Custom Amounts on a Fundraising Page
Updated over a week ago

Do you want your supporters to be able to donate any amount they wish instead of predetermined amounts? Here's how to setup your Fundraising Page to do so!

First, you'll want to be sure that you're logged into Donor Management.

Once you are logged into Donor Management, you'll want to click on the "My Tools" button in the top-right corner of your screen, and then select the option for "Fundraising Pages" from the drop-down menu.

Once you've successfully accessed your "My Campaigns" page in Fundraising Pages, you'll want to locate the campaign that you wish to edit. Then, you'll want to click on the "Manage" button within that campaign's tile.

Once on the "Campaign Overview" page, you'll want to select the blue "Edit" button in the top-right corner.

When the page reloads, scroll down to the section labeled "Donation Settings." You'll want to make sure that the option for "Impact Statements" is selected.

While you can add "impact statements" to your page, you'll want to scroll down to the checkbox labeled "Allow Custom Donation Amount," and ensure that this box is checked.

Doing so creates an additional "impact statement" tile on your page that allows donors to enter their own desired donation amount.

Once you've confirmed that the box is checked, click on the blue "Save & Exit" button in the top-right corner of your screen. The custom donation option will now be visible and accessible by your donors on that updated campaign page.

Please note that adding this option for custom donations is page specific, and if you'd like to include it on additional donation pages, you will need to follow these steps for each additional page.
