Generating a QR Code for Fundraising Pages
Updated over a week ago

QR codes are a quick and easy way to share your Everyday Giving Page with your donors, or your Essential Events page during a call-to-action at your upcoming event.

Donors and participants can open up their camera app on their phones and aim towards a QR code to quickly and easily open up a specific webpage.

Some web browsers offer a quick and easy way to generate these codes straight from the browser itself.

Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

Right click anywhere within the page to open the context menu, then select the option to “Create QR Code for this page”.

A small pop-up should appear with the URL (link) that corresponds with the QR code.

To download and save a copy of the code, press the “download” button in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up window.

Safari or Firefox

Unfortunately, Apple and Mozilla do not currently offer an option to generate a QR code for a web page through their browsers.
