QR Codes are a quick and easy way to share your Everyday Giving page with your donors, or your Essential Events page during a call-to-action at your upcoming event.
Donors and supporters can use the built-in camera on their mobile device and aim towards a QR Code to quickly and easily open up a specific webpage.
Step 1: Create a QR Code.
If you are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser, right-click anywhere within your public-facing Everyday Giving page to open the context menu and select the option to 'Create QR Code for this page'.
Please Note: Unfortunately, Safari and Mozilla Firefox do not currently offer a built-in option to generate a QR code for a web page through their browsers.
A small pop-up should appear with the URL that corresponds with the QR Code.
Step 2: Copy and download your QR Code.
Click 'Copy' to copy the link to paste elsewhere or 'Download', which will save the QR as an image you can add to your website, share in e-mail communications, or print out for promotional materials.
If you are not using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, you can opt to use a free QR Code generator, such as this one. Available features will vary from generator to generator - for example, some generators may allow you to customize your QR Code by adding your branding, while others may not. As always, use your best judgment when using free generators online!
