How do I copy or duplicate an existing Everyday Giving page?
Updated over a week ago

When coordinating recurring campaigns - such as an annual back-to-school drive or a monthly bake sale - you may find yourself recreating very similar Everyday Giving pages, even though most of the information across those campaigns remains the same.

The “cloning” feature of our Everyday Giving pages allows you to duplicate an existing Everyday Giving page and copy over all of the key information shared across your campaign pages.

Need to clone an existing Essential Events page? Check out our related guide here!

Step 1: Navigate to your 'Fundraising Pages'.

From your Donor Management Dashboard, click 'My Tools' in the upper right corner of the page and select 'Fundraising Pages' from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Select the campaign you wish to copy or duplicate.

You will be directed to your 'My Campaigns' page, where you can click on the tile or the 'Manage' button under your existing event to access its 'Campaign Overview'.

Step 2: Clone your campaign.

Once you are on the 'Campaign Overview' screen for your existing event, click on the blue 'Edit' button in the top right corner and select the option to 'Clone This Campaign'.

Cloning an Everyday Giving page will copy over the following information from your existing page:

  • Campaign Name (with the word "copy" - Ex: [campaign name_copy])

  • Campaign Photo

  • Campaign Goal

  • Donation Amounts

  • Call to Action

  • Page Content

Note: If you have already started creating another page, be sure to publish that page first before trying to clone any other Everyday Giving pages.

Your page will automatically refresh and a message should appear at the top of the screen, confirming that the page has been successfully cloned.

Step 3: Review and update your campaign details.

Finally, you will want to be sure that the name, dates, and other information reflect your new campaign and not your previous campaign!

You will also want to make sure you update and personalize some of the other aspects of your page, such as the background image, designations, and custom questions.

When you are finished making your changes, you can click 'Save and Exit' in the top right corner of your screen.
