Do you run the same campaign for your organization regularly – like an back-to-school drive, or a Giving Tuesday push? If so, you may find yourself re-creating very similar Everyday Giving pages every time those specific campaigns roll around, even though most of the information across those campaigns remain the same year over year.
The “cloning” feature of our Everday Giving pages lets you duplicate an existing Everyday Giving page and copy over all of the most important information that’s shared across your campaign pages.
Looking for how to clone an existing Essential Events page? Check out our related guide here!
Cloning an Everyday Giving page will copy over the following information from your existing page:
Campaign Name (along with the word “copy”)
Campaign Photo
Campaign Goal
Donation Amounts
Call to Action
Page Content
HOW TO CLONE AN EVERYDAY GIVING PAGE
From the Campaign Overview screen for your existing event, click on the blue Edit button in the top right corner, then select the option to Clone This Campaign.
Your page should then refresh and a message should appear at the top of the screen, confirming that the page has been successfully cloned.
Next, you’ll want to be sure that the name, dates, and other information reflect the new, future campaign – and not the previous campaign!
You’ll also want to make sure you update and personalize some of the other aspects of your page, such as the background image, designations, and custom questions.
Once you’re comfortable with how your page looks, you can click Save and Exit at the top of your screen!
What if I’m already in the process of creating another, separate Everyday Giving page?
If you try to duplicate or clone an Everyday Giving page, and you’ve already started (but not completed) creating a separate Everyday Giving page, you’ll need to finish completing that separate Everyday Giving page before continuing.
In other words, if you’ve already started creating another page, be sure to publish that page first before trying to clone any other Everyday Giving pages!
