How do I add an image to my form?

Looking to add your logo to your mailing list? Hoping to add a photo to your volunteer sign-up sheet? You can easily personalize your form by adding a logo or image, and make it easily distinguishable as your organization’s form!

Once you’ve created your form under the “Communications” tab in your Donor Management System, you’ll want to click on the “Actions” button to the right of the form.

From the drop-down options, you’ll want to select the “Fields” option.

When the page reloads, click on the “Add Field” button in the top-right corner.

You should now see the option to add a new field to your form. Normally, these would be fields for your donors or participants to fill out, but there is a specific field that allows you to add images to the form itself.

Please enter something as the “Question Label.” (Don’t worry, no one but you will see this!)

Then, for “Field Type,” please select “HTML” from the drop-down options.

This process will only work if the Field Type is listed as HTML - so please make sure that you've made that selection.

Next, you’ll want to locate the image you’ll want to add to the form.

This image must be public and web-based, meaning that this image has to be hosted online and have a corresponding link or URL that isn’t limited to a specific audience.

Not sure how to find an image’s URL? Right-click on an image within a website, and select the “Copy Image Address” or “Copy Image URL” option.

If you are trying to add an image from your computer’s files, you may need to upload the image to an external image hosting site, such as PostImage, to generate that link.

Once you have that URL, you’ll want to add this specific coding to the “HTML Content” section – but remove the spaces first:

< img src=”IMAGELINK” >

You’ll want to replace the work IMAGELINK above – but not the quotation marks! - with the image’s link.

It should look something like this:

Then, click “Update & Save.”

Congrats! Now you should have that image included at the top of your form!

Additional formatting, such as re-sizing, centering, or aligning an image with text may require additional expertise in HTML formatting that our Support Team may not be able to assist with.
