How do I submit a refund request on behalf of a donor?
Updated over 2 months ago

Typos happen, donors change their minds, and events are canceled. Follow the steps outlined below to submit a refund request on behalf of your donor!

Step 1: Submit a refund request

To initiate the refund process, contact our Support team directly, as they manage processing the financial portion of the refund.

Here is the information you will be asked to provide:

  • Donor Name

  • Donor E-mail Address

  • Donation Amount

  • Donation Date

Providing these details helps the team locate the specific transaction that needs to be refunded and verifies the correct amount is refunded to the intended donor.

Once a refund has been issued, the credit can take 2-5 business days to reflect on a donor's credit or debit card. The donor will receive an e-mail notification confirming the refund has been processed. We recommend that you communicate this with your donors so they are not surprised or confused by that message.

Note: The Support Team cannot make partial refunds - any refund would be for the full amount of the original transaction.

Your donors can request a refund from our Support team directly via the blue dot in the lower right corner of the page or e-mail success@networkforgood.com if they prefer to communicate via e-mail.
