Note: Bonterra Payments processes disbursements on business days, and the "cut-off" for processing is 7 PM ET. Transactions processed before 7 PM ET should be disbursed to an account five business days later, transactions processed over the weekend or after 7 PM ET will be processed in the next disbursement.
In your 'Donor Management' system, you can easily generate filters and export customizable reports on transactions processed through Bonterra Payments, helping you understand and track the disbursements you receive through Bonterra Payments.
Learn how to create and manage those reports by following the steps below.
Step 1: Navigate to your 'Giving' Dashboard
From your 'Donor Management' Dashboard, click the 'Giving' tab on the left navigation panel.
Step 2: Click 'Create a Filter +'
When your 'Giving' Dashboard loads, click the 'Create a Filter +' button.
Step 3: Create your filter
Select 'Online Transaction' from the available options in the first drop-down. Then, select 'is true' from the second.
Next, click the 'Add Condition' link, which can be found towards the bottom of the custom filter creator.
From the first drop-down on the second row of options, select 'Payment gateway processor'. Then, select 'equals' from the second and 'Stripe' from the third.
This filter will pull the results of all transactions made via Bonterra Payments that have been processed across donations, events, and auctions for your organization.
Bonterra Payments is powered by Stripe. To learn more, check out this FAQ.
Step 4 (Optional): Narrow your results within a specific date range
Need your report to pull results from within a specific date range?
Click the 'Add Condition' link twice to add two additional rows of conditions to your custom filter.
The first row should read as 'Donation date' > (is) 'greater than or equal to' > [DATE], while the second row reads as 'Donation date' > (is) 'less than or equal to' > [DATE].
Step 5: Save your filter for convenience
We highly recommend saving this filter if your organization frequently reports on this data.
Click the 'Save Filter' button under your filter to easily access it for future use.
